    With my back of a fag packet calculations I come out with the following;

Total games in the championship season is 552, (12 x 46)

    Total points available 1, 656, (552 x 3)

Total draws so far this season 89, which means there is 178, (89 x 2) points that have been lost, (i.e. not awarded for a win).

Total points in the table as per the first post predictor 1,497.

Which means, even if there isn't another draw all season then the total amount of points that there still can be is only 1,478, (1656 - 178).

I could have got this wrong, but to me it doesn't add up.

Please feel free to correct me!

So Norwich will get 41/51 points; Swansea will get 41/51; Cardiff 42/54; Forest 39/57 and QPR 30/51

Boy are we looking poor in comparison at the back end of the season with the easiest fixture list of all of them!

Norwich is a very good side, like Forest they both get the results. They win a lot.

Us and Swansea have won more than them.

The season isn't over yet. We have 1/3 of the way to go, anything can happen and could easily be topped.

Norwich and Forest do get the results.

                    Exactly.

All this talk of a "run in" is very premature. A "run in", in my book is the last 5 or 6 games or so - certainly not starting from the 1st week in February!

They came here parked the bus, missed a penalty that never was and went home happy with the point.
                      Watford were far better.
As were Donny, who many would think differently going by the scoreline.

Is it state the bleeding obvious day?

Nobody thinks the season finished yesterday. Yes, Norwich and Forest get results, that will explain why they are in 2nd and 4th.

We get better results though, we are top.

I just dont think somebodys clearly innacurate BBC prediction game should be taken seriously and clearly it isnt judging by most peoples comments.

Can this board just stop all these useless, stupid Prediction threads? Jeez! We haven't even played 30 games yet...:rage:

So starting them next week maybe okay?

they are just as accurate as the signings threads, so got to be fair game!

Forest are on a good run, no doubt.

But if you look at their results, they've really ridden their luck in games. Late own goals, hardly any clean sheets.

And the last 2 away games they've nicked have been at possibly the 2 worst form teams in the league. Derby and Coventry.

We'll see how great they are when they play their next 2 games... Watford at home and QPR away.
                              Proper tests.
