Oh come on!!

He lost the plot for about 2 minutes because he felt all picked on, acted like a spoilt brat, and then was fine... if a little quiet after that. He often is away from home.


He's just a big silly kid at times.... but f*ck me, he's worth it, surely???

Arshavin may be the laziest arsenal player but you have a close look at him and you will see the amount of chasing down he does is light years away from Adel,

I love Adels ability but he was an embarrassment to QPR yesterday.

Langley was always a heated debate.

Adel is 10x the player, but has a certain way about him that grates on supporters.
Especially English fans.

Personally, I think he's well worth the "silly stuff". But I can see the bad points too.
Ronaldo and the Young Cantona were similarly irritating.
If he really wants to be, he can be in their league as a player... he has the raw ability, many others like him have failed to really make it. But he needs to show the maturity and attitude they quickly developed.

I said this is another thread. This is why the English national team are so poor. In this country people rather see a hard worker, an average player who gives 100%, rather then seeing a player like Adel, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, etc etc. From kids football at grass root, its drilled into the kids to work hard, no fun allowed, no tricks, just get the ball and clip it into the channels. You think the Brazilians, Spanish, etc kids are playing 11 a side on full pitches at 11 years old? being told to get stuck in and pump the ball forward at the first opportunity.

Players like Adel are a dying breed in the English game, and it is a shame as they are worth the entrance fee alone. £30 to watch Adel or a Derry type player, I know what I want to see, and it aint over the top tackles and fist pumping.
