We're NOT where we are because of Taarabt

So bored and fed up of reading on here how we are only where we are cos of Taarabt.

There is 11 players out there every week and ALL of them contribute to where we are now.

Anyone would think that Taarabt has single handedly scored every goal, saved every shot, cleared every upfield punt, won every free kick and headed every clearance the way some of you go on about him.
Although no doubt the greedy, jumped up little brat would try and do so if he thought he could get away with it. (actually no he wouldn't - he doesn't do tracking back does he.)

No one can ignore how good he is when he is good. We've all been there and seen it. Nor can anyone say he hasn't produced the ODD display of pure genius but at the same time no one can say that the other 10 players out there haven't played as big a part in putting us where we are now.

How big of a negative effect he actually has on the other players we don't know but I wouldn't mind betting an awful lot of them can't stand either him or his attitude. Would THEY miss him if he went to the Prem. Not so sure myself.

    Captain? - what a joke.

The least Warnock should do is remove the arm band from him for a while and give it to a proper leader who actually commits to the team and not himself - Derry.

In the mean time can we all start to appreciate the whole squad cos its all of them who have put us top - not just Taarabt.

Agree he shouldn't be captain but taking it off of him now would be foolish. More reason for him to strop. Ok he was a pr!ck today but fair play he came out 2nd half and had a go. He needs to be molly coddled and NW handles him perfectly. He will cool down tonight & come out fighting Tuesday.

The other thing to remember is that without him we wouldn'tplay 4231, we would play 442 and that means an extra striker and maybe more goals from elsewhere. Adel is class though

a lot of what you say is right to be fair-kenny has kept us in as many games as adel has produced moments of magic. we don't have the best record defensively for nothing. agree about derry being given the armband for a cple of games just to let tarbs realise that the world does'nt spin around him.

We would not be top without Taraabt, end of.
However if he was consistently fantastic we would be 10-12 points clear.
We have a great fighting side 90% of the time, but take away Taraabts genius against Cardiff, Coventry, Preston and many more we may not have won those games.

Take away his goals and assists, we would't be any where near top, i mean its not a big supprise the way he acted today is it.

He,s a spoilt brat, but then we all know that dont we.
In fact i have never in all the years of watching any type of football, seen such a talented prat.
                        They seek him here.................

Maradonna in '86 pretty much won Argentina the World Cup that year.

Adel is pretty much winning us promotion this year.
