                              Quote apparently from NW this afternoon:

                              Danny Shittu's contract at Millwall has expired and now he is re-joining his old club QPR on a six-month deal.

                              QPR boss Neil Warnock said: "Danny wants to come to us and I’m glad we got him on a very good deal – providing the final Is and Ts are dotted and crossed over the next few hours.

                              "I think he will add something we haven’t got in our back four."

                                              If he is injured or holding out for more money we should be firm - there is no immediate crisis and if for some reason he doesn't sign and we do find ourselves short there is always the emergency loan market.

                                                  nobody knows why/if there is a hold up. but if injured til feb i wouldnt bother with him and would seek to find somebody else.
