Also can I add that watching him fall over week in week out was painful and frustrating to watch. Fans were having a go at Di Carmine when he couldn't header during general play when Dexter does the same. He is one of the tallest players on the pitch and only get s about one header a game. He cant header two shits like Di Carmine couldn't but Di Carmine was getting more groans and moans than Dexter did. At Least Di Carmine could hold the ball. But still he wasn't good enough and had to go like Dexter needs to too.

Sorry but he just isnt the answer.

£2m is a good price for somebody who hasnt really improved much since we signed him.
Yes he has been our top scorer 2/3 seasons but i think that shows how weak our forward line has been not how good Blackstock is.
Used to work his nuts off chasing down loose balls,lost causes etc now seems uninterested,doesnt seem to be ruthless enough in front of goal still fluffs to many chances,i also think hes limited in his ability.
Up against a good quality CB Blackstock is short of ideas,always looks panicky with the ball at his feet cant wait to get rid of it.


I think a move is good for both parties.Balanta,Blackstock,Helguson and Agyemang can all go for me.

Indeed even a Notts Forest fan pointed that out to me. He isn't a fan of Blackstock either.

Blackstock does have a lack of ability and his touch and control is league 1 standard. He should put himself about allot more and work on his frame as he does tend to fall over when we get a brisk breeze on a spring day! I think 2 million is great business. I think the whole of the front line is woeful and we need to sign at least 2 strikers.
