    Rolling The Ball Out Instead Of The Big Bombs

    Should we mix it up a little more in future, because the goal came from a roll out by Kenny, probably the only time he did it during the game?

      Been saying this all season - we have all the talent so why by-pass it. As soon as Kenny threw it out a big cheer went up. Hope he takes the hint.

                  Coventry just expected PK to lump it everytime... which he mostly did, so they left our full backs alone.
                  Then he threw it to Hill, in acres of space.

                  So maybe the plan worked?!

                          yep agree , nice cheers when he rolled it out too lol.
                          having said that think miller won every header after he came on with ease, without barely leaving the ground, didnt realise how big a fella he was !

                              Trouble is we have no defenders with the confidence/composure to receive the ball and do something constructive with it apart from hoofing it. But I agree, we need to mix it up and it should be getting worked on in training.

                                  Sort of a cultured hoof though? It was definately meant for Taarabt. 2nd half we just tended to knock it up there and hope for the best.

                                      True. It did look like an intentional pass rather than the usual hoof. Maybe they should practice it more in training as it worked a treat.

                                              Clearly NW does have Rangers playing Kenny as the main tool of distribution for Rangers and it does get a little monotonous to see him hoof the ball downfield every few minutes.

                                              Clear as a bell on the TV, you could hear an ironic cheer when he threw the ball out.

                                              Please NW, let's vary the system occasionally.
