    Adel Taarabt ! How much ... ?

Best player we've had for a very long time, some would say his class exceeds this league to which I am a believer. Today he was outstanding as with the majority of games this season for which I am the happiest man alive that he is wearing the hoops. However, If for instance we get promoted this season, there be no doubt in my mind that a shitload of interest will be directed Taraabt's way. I am assuming everyone here as well as myself would wish to hold on to him as a QPR legend, but if you had to VALUE him in ££££ terms, at this point in the season how much do you think's a realistic price.

-- By the way this is completely hypothetical, I'd never want him to leave but just thought it'd be quite good to see some peoples valuations.

I'd put him at 5 mill

I reckon we'd sell at 4-5 million. Personally wouldnt even consider an offer unless it was 20+

£10 million would be a bargain.

And the money we paid Spurs was - well robbery!

If that kid at Southampton is going for 10million, Adel would be worth a lot more. I wouldnt even look at an offer, because to us at the moment he is priceless. If we do decide to cash in on him in the future and let him fulfilll his potential with a big team, £20 odd million.

if bent is worth £24m then it has to be somewhere near the £30m mark, which is ridiculous money tbh

I said many months ago he could go for £10 million if he carries on....I was generally laughed at!!

The problem is that because we are a small club (yes, get over it) we will be offered peanuts - just like Holloway is finding at Blackpool.

We'll keep him til January 2012 then I think he'll go for £8m although worth a hell of a lot more, but as Silvercue says we'll be offered peanuts
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

I agree with post above and I would base it on how much is he worth to you and therefore how much is the PL worth.

He is our prize Dimond in our crown, and without it the crown is not the same. Adel to me would £25+ million.

Potentially, the best player in the world in 3 or 4 years IMHO. Perhaps the nearest thing to Christiano Ronaldo (who by the way has 34 goals for Madrid already this season).
