Tabs. Can't be bothered to read the negative posts on here about him. That might sound arrogant and normally I like to debate with other posters no matter what their opinion but if someone can't see what Tabs has to offer as a footballer then, respectfully, I say there probably isn't much point my having a discussion with you and perhaps you would be happier supporting a team of honest toilers such as Coventry.

To the non-moaners I say this: enjoy this special, special player while you can. He is an extraordinary talent who half way through the first half looked totally disinterested and wasn't in the game, but then did a few things that not many players in the Premiership could even attempt, still less pull off.

Boothroyd, though pretty rude, has a point: what IS Adel doing here? He is sure to move on to bigger things eventually and I hope when he does Rs fans won't bombard the message boards saying "this shows the board lacks ambition", "Adel is a traitor" etc etc - just enjoy watching him now, remember this time, and feel privileged to be there to see his wonderful skill.

The word "legend" is massively over-used in football (for instance I've seen Gareth Ainsworth called a "QPR legend" when actually he was just a very good servant of the club) but Tabs is rapidly becoming one. I was too young to see anything more than a glimpse of Stanley Bowles but I've been lucky enough to enjoy Tony Currie, Simon Stainrod, Roy Weagerlie, Andy Sinton, Ray Wilkins and Trevor Sinclair among others in the blue and white hoops - and with the possible exception of Currie I think Tabs is up there (in many ways he is even superior).

By the end of the season he will have been here two years. If he gets us promoted I'm really starting to think the term "legend" would no longer be hyperbole. Thankyou Adel, you make watching Rangers a real pleasure.

One of the most skillful players I have seen, and I always say it, but I haven't seen anybody make players look like sunday players like Adel since Ronaldinho at Barca.

The guy will go onto massive things if he keeps it up, just hope he doesn't turn into another Quaresma, or Denilson, both were brilliant with the ball but never went on to do anything.

I did have the pleasure of watching Bowles and whilst I believe that tarbs has more raw talent and tricks than Stan, he hasn't yet done it at the highest level, so Bowles edges it for me at the moment. However tarbs is almost single handedly getting us promoted and I agree that we should enjoy it while it lasts, get promoted and hope that we can keep him, at least for one season.

It's frustration that causes the neg posts. The 10 mins of magic that he gives us to invariably win games isn't enough for some, they want to see 20 mins or 30 mins of this genius gift.
If he could just judge when to give better, and respect the 'team' ideal, he would be world class very soon.

He is what you pay your money to watch.He does things very few players can do,but they dont always work,if they dont then at least he tried.He is a pleasure to watch and as you say enjoy it while it lasts he wont be here forever.

Abso-f'ing-lutely - Adel is a joy to watch. And if a dribble/pass doesn't come off, there'll be another one along in a minute that will.
It's been a long, long time since we've had a player of his talent. I wish I could watch him every week (don't have an ST) because he's the kinf of player who makes watching football fun.
If you are unhappy with him, I think you could make any glass half empty.

Agree about learning when to pass, obviously, and there was that moment in the first half when he cut in from the left brilliantly but then shot rather than cut it back and Routledge looked disgusted - felt like shouting "you'd better get used to that, Wayne".

But the point is - if he could work out when to pick the pass he WOULD be playing for Real Madrid, not QPR, so just celebrate what we have.

Thoses people who never saw Marsh, Stan or Currie now know what why we talk about them all the time as the skill, vision and sheer enjoyment they give you, you could not get from almost anyother player.

Yes, I agree. He is still only 21 and thank goodness he isn't perfect yet or we really would have trouble keeping hold of him.

I've often thought that Ray Wilkins would probably be a great one to one coach for him, due to his Rays passing ability, .although I'm sure he's getting good coaching anyway.

He is worth the admission ticket alone, and with WR on the left we also have a balance. Some good stuff to come imo.
