He has got us top on a tiny budget(about 3 million in transfers) and despite the board refusing to give him any more money to spend this January he has managed to persuade Routledge to come back on loan and get Chimbonda to sign a 5 month contract,so well done Neil,YOU deserve the praise

In all fairness I suspect Gianni Paladini had more of a say in this, Warnock probably just gave the nod and said we will sign them. I doubt it would take a lot of convincing when your not getting regular football and the team sitting top of the Championship can meet your wage demands whilst offering you regular first team football comes knocking. Chimbonda and Routledge are not here to make up the numbers they will probably be straight in against Coventry.Originally posted by Rebel R's View PostHe has got us top on a tiny budget(about 3 million in transfers) and despite the board refusing to give him any more money to spend this January he has managed to persuade Routledge to come back on loan and get Chimbonda to sign a 5 month contract,so well done Neil,YOU deserve the praise

As you know Neil has said over and over again that he has only spent £2 million on the team, but iv added 1 million to the figure as I'm aware he is the master of spin, yes the board deserve some praise as well ,BUT most would have liked if Neil was given some funds this month to go after the likes of Austin, instead he has had to reply on loans.Originally posted by BennyBoyRs View Post£3m?
Kenny, Taarabt and Smith cost that, and that's without the extra £400k Tarbs is going to cost by the end of the season.
As I keep saying. Neil has been backed pretty well this season, and rightly so.
The board deserve credit also.
