    Clarke considers R's exit

Striker linked with Loftus Road exit

Skysports.com understands Leon Clarke could be set to leave Queens Park Rangers during this month's transfer window.

Clarke could be willing to move on in search of regular first-team football with the former Sheffield Wednesday player failing to hold down a regular place in Neil Warnock's starting XI this season.

is this a serious link or did someone make it up?? lol Dont want to put the guy down, but from what ive seen, and heard - hes clearly not up to the level of the rest of the team. Might have been useful at some point last year, but now hes going to struggle even to get on the bench. This is the kid of player we dont need to be honest, harsh as it sounds

It's a Sky sports transfer rumor, so hopefully some truth in it.

Clarke could be willing to move on in search of regular first-team football with the former Sheffield Wednesday player failing to hold down a regular place in Neil Warnock's starting XI this season.

With Rangers thought to be keen on bolstering their strikeforce this month having taken Benni McCarthy on trial, Clarke could find himself pushed further down the pecking order at Loftus Road.

A number of clubs in the Championship are believed to be watching Clarke's situation at QPR with the sides making enquiries about his availability during the last loan transfer window.

Clarke is now considering his options and if a club makes an attractive offer he could be interested in a move away from the Championship leaders.

Rangers could be willing to let Clarke move on if they bring in a couple of new forwards before the end of the month.

Fair play to him, he could just sit on the bench and get paid for it, but he wants first team football. Don't really rate him, but at least he is not a parasite.

I wonder if he reads this message board?. Must be hard for him to realise that he'll never have the fans on his side, hopefully that has also helped him in his decision to leave.
