Campbell is worth a punt me thinks

Darius Vassell and daniel sturridge

Either/any of these would be a great addition

Afraid I agree with Kinglsey. And people like Campbell are still contracted so wd be about five million I wd have thought. No way our board wd pay that. Fuller will also be snapped up by a struggling prermiership club. With Flavio's comments about not wanting big names I think we have to set our sights a bit lower. But a good list Pete and I hope the management are also studying it.

I would be happy with landing the majority on that list with a few exceptions, stick out names for me are Di Michele (although I am positive he will sign a new deal with W Ham)
Peter Lovenkrands and Manucho. However all these would require a lot of money put aside for wages, something that FB seems set on not doing

The persistent "on the cheap" mentality is incredible i.e. why should we be considering those "released" (e.g. not wanted) as well as loans? What's wrong with splashing the cash on someone else's prized asset or on potential?
