One of my mates who is a Blackburn fan said he is the best natural finisher they had since shearer... As long as he is fit. At one point Chelsea offered about 15 million for him I believe so there must something in him! You never know...

His condition is obviously an issue... but Benni McCarthy IS more than good enough for this division.
His record before West Ham was fantastic.

Get him fit, and we've got ourselves a right top striker in this division.

It's not as if it's a f****d knee, or a back problem. Or if he was 37 years old.
It's conditioning... and that is easier to sort quickly. As long as he wants it enough.

If it weren't for those (valid) doubts, we wouldn't get within a mile of a player like him.
            Trust NW on this one.

yea, i think hed surprise some! A lot of people who arent quite good enough for premiership, are still a class above the rest in this division . e.g routledge, who stands out as one of the best, if not THE best winger in the division. But in the premiership, his name is never mentioned. McCarthy has loads of experience, and may be the kind of signing who could do well in this league

Didn't even make the South african squad for the World cup in his own country because of fitness, just goes to show the bloke attitude. No thanks.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Blimey - dosn';t tale lomg with Rangers does it. MY Routledge bubble of joy is pooped more than a bit with the thought of BenniBoyArse coming to Rangers.

Its all very well saying "must be something" "sure if he got fit" etc. Wjhat tosh. Fat kid can't get a game. Dropped by his own country for being a lardyarse. Described recently ion a paper (posted on here) as the epitome of poor and ill advised January window signings. West Ham (bottom of the League still can't get a game there) will laugh their nuts off if we sign him

But you're right - lets trust Neil - he will doubtless see he is shite and send him packing. But I am still disappointed he got through the doors and is wearing hoops. Must look dreadful with those man-####.

Mcarthy has a weight problem.. Like a medical one where his metabolism doesnt work as fast as others. He trained his nuts off pre season but couldnt shift it..

Feel sorry for him, hope he gets back to his Blackburn form then id have him like a shot.

When I say Trust Warnock (and Mick Jones)... I mean that they would not sign anyone who couldn't do the job.

That's why he's being looked at today.

And after a good look, and a good chat... they will be in a better position to judge McCarthy than any MB poster, West Ham fan, friend of a West Ham fan, Wiki user, Googler, or amateur football managers in general.

And yes, of course messageboards are the place to air an opinion, but it's also the place for others to give an opinion on those opinions. (sort of!)

I don't want to mention "Carthorse Clint" and "Donkey Derry" again, but.......??
I think you know what I'm getting at here.

Just trust the bloke to do right for QPR.

I never said Carthouse clint or Donkey Derry but I will say Fat #### Benni MCLardy has no place at Rangers

This trial must be his first game (of sorts) in a year aint it? That itself tells me he aint the answer. We are having to trial a supposed Prem striker. And he is doing it. And he won't come on a free. Even if he played just for food he'd be pricey on upkeep.
