To be fair Ibra could make any of our defenders look just as silly.

Gorrks and connors struggle against half decent strikers with movement, just look at what Graham did to them let alone Ibra.

haha I know weare, but you must agree, to be given a 10 yard headstart and still get beat to the ball, then 2 defenders let him shoot from 45 yards without putting a block in, is not good pal.

Not difficult at all, but would you describe Lecce as a top team?

NW wants him, or is having a look at him / being shown him because he has links to someone?

I have only really paid attention to how NW operates since he's been our gaffer, but NW seems to stick to what he knows - players he's been linked with in the past or someone who he has good knowledge of. Therefore, whenever a foreigner, particularly an Italian who I've never heard of comes in to the frame there is always the suspicion that they are not an NW target, but that NW has been asked by someone to have a look at them.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing though, if it expands the base (base - no pun intended) of players that we look at....on one condition, that NW has the final say as to whether he wants the player or not.

I realise theyre near the bottom at the moment but the fact that theyre a Seria A side makes them, relatively speaking 'a top team'.

Anyway its all academic because the player is $hit if we're to believe the reports.

Funnily enough, just like the Prem in most European leagues there are a few good teams and lots of very average ones. Lecce spend most of their time yoyoing between the top division and the second, so not really a top team.....

NW has probably got his own ideas who he wants but dont hurt with the board getting involved getting NW to have a look at players

They must have there contacts in the game and dont mean NW has to take them on just because the board has seeked them out
