To be fair he said he wants new players in before Coventry so id hazard a guess the meeting was last week. He said hes enquired about a few so suggests to me hes been given the nod from upstairs.

We have waited so long to go back up, and it would be devastating to throw it away now, as we are so close

How would that suit our ambitions?

Yeah , have these quotes come after the "meeting",
sounds like what he's been saying all along.

I'd be over the Vaagan Moen to see Routledge and Shittu before the game on Sunday

                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

What's the betting that whatever hppens (if anything) it will be last knockings on Friday and nip and tuck if it can go through in time for Sunday. We never do things the easy way.
