For me, a midfield diamond (especially at home) with Taarabt roaming behind a front two of Helguson, and either Nugent or Phillips would be perfect.

Nugent is the one I'd go for, Pompey are skint.
Although Phillips is more likely to accept a place on the bench, he's not daft.

Warnock won't play 2 up top when Adel is the side or it means we would have 3 player who won't be defending. I would play 3 at the back with attacking full backs personally

I really rate Tommy Smith.. He has to be included somewhere imo..

Imo Kenny, Kaspers, Connolly, Adel, Faurlin, Smith and HH pick themselves when fit, the rest are chucked in around these individuals..

Dont think HH was fit enough to start.. I see it the other way round, its normally been hulse trying to get in the starting 11 imo...
