Why is S.hittu not a Warnock type player? He has tried to buy Rowlands and Helgusson before even by his own admission, unless you want the whole of the Crystal Place or Sheffield United team. Really not into people trying to fiond things that are not there.

I think people are trying too hard to see something that isn't really there, in regard to Shittu.

So you agree with Gp recommended players Pete? You can't excuse the ledesma one definately GP getting involved and i'll be honest I think its a disgrace. I know he's your mate but surely you can see that. He needs to stay WELL OUT of footballing matter and just stick to negotiating the deal. Neil is more than capable of finding his own players.

Shittu is not the issue but your final point is why I am very concerned.

We all know GP loves to get involved but we don't need to go back down that road and bringing in Ledesma for a trial is GP going back to his old ways.

You may be reading too much into this. We are short on a midfield player now Mackie has gone. Ledesma is availble on a free transfer, we have no money to spend so perhaps they said have a look at him to see what you think.

Shittu is known by vitually every manager and NW wanted him once at Sheff Utd so thats no big deal either.

As long as NW and only NW has final say on the players we actually sign I've no problem handing trials to numerous players. If NW thinks that Ledesma, Sh*ttu et al are good enough then great. But if he doesn't and they aren't signed then also great BUT if he doesn't want a player and then it's forced on him then and only then should there be a concern.

Is Ledesma playing in the first 11??

We had a goalie brought back in the summer to look at again, nothing was made about that.

End of the day its January, we are going to be looking at players, are you saying that GP has watched the striker at Cambridge City or the youngster at Norway we are looking at?

Really, its fans as usual trying to find things that are not there. Its more of a shame because we are top and many are acting like we are mid-table.

Pete like i have stated.

1) Warnock has NOT gone to the board and asked them if he can trial and offer a contract if all good to a player called Ledesma.
Ledesma has been offered to him.. I have no reason why this would have happened.

Why even give our best manager ever the slightest reason to be ****ed off?

All I want is for Neil, Mick and Keith to do the job.

Paladini stay well clear and do what youre good at.

We all agree Ledesma wasnt reccommended by Neil, so this is my point!!
