Having said that, should they be doing this in the first place?
Saw him on interview the other day and he said something along the lines of FB recommended Mutu and he seemed to brush off FB by saying yeah I'll get back to you on that one.

A bad sign, that Warnock feels the need to explain his position to the board via the press, for the second time this week.

Ledesma is at best a distraction, at worst a sign that Paladini is trying to foist a cr*p player on the club. For what reason I wonder?

To try and put a positive slant on this, NW is looking at four players, I wonder who they are ?????
            Kept the faith!

Maybe I'm missing something but I think that's the most positive news coming out of the club in ages. Firstly and most importantly Warno says he is looking to bring four players in (that's two more than I was expecting). Secondly he says he is "taking a look" at Ledesma. I see no problem with that. Here was a player who would have cost £2.2m a year or so ago (and many fans were desperate for us to pay the money) now available for free. If he works out on trial and Warno likes the look of him, then great we sign him; if Warno doesn't rate him he hopefully won't have to sign him. Only if he doesn't impress yet Warno is still forced by Paladini to sign him is there a problem, and we are not remotely there yet - so chill. If Warno is annoyed I think it is far more about the lack of transfer funds than about Ledesma.

Before signing anyone QPR should rise Adel's wages, like Arsenal did with Nasri & Co, and other teams with their best players. Note that Adel was the cheapest buy and he is the most influential player in the whole league not only at QPR. I think if he sees that an ordinary players getting paid better than him he will start thinking... and you know the rest.
when I see the like balotteli and similar players with all their troubles and they didnt even play 15 games a season! or even better than him you just start wondering whats happening in football business ... so many overrated players get overpayed and they dnt offer nothing to the teams.
Adel needs a new Agent I think. if he plays in la liga he would rip them apart! I mean the guy is much stronger and talented than most of the players out there.. let alone the EPL. life is a bitch ! if he was Brazilian or Argentinian it would be another story ... But I am sure he will make his route and future by himself no need for media hype.

                  Totally agree with that.

The NW quotes themselves are not a reason for doom.
Support NW, and it's downhill from now til may.

Tie his hands... and it's uphill, steep.

Despite his jokey, public announcements, no-one comes in without Harry's 100% approval and the player in question being watched by, at the least, Ian Broomfield a number of times. Van der Vaart was watched for over a year so when the call came in from Calderon, whilst still giving Harry the overriding decision, pretty easy to say Yes.

Bebe wasn't recommended by the Glazers or Gill was he? Paladini and Briatore's equivalents?

yeah do trust warnock to get it right,as his record for gd signings for us has been great, would rather us go for a left back instead of chimbonda, van arnholt from chelsea would be a gd addition,& would love to see simon cox n waghorn be the 2 strikers warnock is after(think roberts wages would be to high for us).
