Yes, apart from the obvious error, most amusing.

I do believe you will find that he hasn't 'written' anything as this would require a piece of paper and a writing implement.

If one looks closely, one can see that he has clearly used a 'keyboard' to actually 'type' the message,

so it should read:-
'Ah, forget it (btw, comma was missing also)... You'll free to type how you like'
