To be fair, he deserved it for that season, was immence and hardly had a bad game, scored some crucial goals aswell.

Unfortunatly, that was his only good season for us. All downhill from there.

I'm gonna have to disagree. He was vastly improved, but made plenty of clangers, especially towards the end of that season b he was at fault for many goals which were blamed on others.

Trust me...I've watched back all the goals from that season to prove myself my eyes didn't lie. His improvement fooled a lot of fans, but not me.

All that happened the following season was that he lost any fitness he had and not only was a thick ba**ard of a CB, who severely lacked concentration, but he also lost his only good attributes...pace and timing in the air. The latter was suspect at times due to poor concentration, but everything had completely deserted him for his last season with us.

So pleased we got rid.
