Promise I wasn't on a wind up last week. We was supposed to be signing a defender before the weekend and at present I cannot find out why this never happened as I cannot get hold of my sauce (and it wasn't the Chimp - for the record I never said for one minute it was him either). The player was from Mid to Top-half Premiership side (sorry cannot say anymore than that for now).

Warnock has also stressed that he really isn't happy with the current size of the squad and we could have no more than 14 players fully fit for the Burnley game. Expect 3 to 5 players coming in through Jan so I wouldn't start panicing just yet!

Encouraging news about 3-5 players. I just hope a) two or three will genuinely improve the first team rather than being yet more bench fodder and b) one or two might actually be purchases rather than loans, but maybe that is hoping for too much. Cheers again anyway.

Always have and always will post what I hear. Everythings a rumour until it's official. It's not all as doom and gloom as some might say and post. Given our shocker of a weekend I would say its safe to say there will be some activity this week. Our board might want to keep spending to a minimum but there is no way they would let us throw away our great 1st half to the season. We have a good squad for this league, however one now that is down to its bare bones. Warnock will be backed, possibly not the way he would hope but he will get the necessary funds and support he needs to keep us where we are.

I'd rather hear a (genuine) rumour (rather than one dreamt up in someones head) As we all know lots of deals don't come off because of last minute hitches (usually called agents!) but your info has always been pretty good. Fair play for putting your hand up though. Respect your honesty mate.

Maybe it was Naughton? and we know what happened there. Anyway keep them coming, good site, good rumours, as long as they are what the poster believe to be true at the time of posting that's good enough for me.
