I believe that he knows who he wants and money he needs. Warnock a man who would walk if he felt that he was not getting 100% back by the board. He did say at the start of the show he got a busy week ahead of him.

What i wanna know is how we go from Briatore offering him Mutu 1 week to not being able to afford any players from lower league clubs the next?
The way i see it is Warnock is talking us down so that he can get better deals and possibly more bodies. He knows what he is doing and i think one or two on here need to chill the **** out.

I thought the most interesting thing NW said on Talksport today was that he will not be bringing in players from lower divisions, so no Austin. Lower division players and to some extent not even championship players are what he wants, was what he was really saying.

What he did say was he is waiting on 2 maybe 3 premiership players on loan, just waiting for their clubs to finalise their own dealings before confirming if these players are available.

I know people are slating Pete with his 'wait for another two weeks' thing, looks like he maybe right.

The way I see it is this time he is talking straight and telling things as it is, especially the way he spoke about it on Talksport today.

He also said that he only wants to bring players in "if they are better than what we already have. Otherwise there's no point". Hence why he's targeted 2 PL players.

Err... Whats wrong with saying that ..... is he supposed to say he only wants to bring in players that are worse than what we have !!!!!!

As for the no money available line.... He has openly stated that he will loan AT THIS STAGE to complement what we already have in the hope that it is enough to get us over the line .

Buying now does not guarantee anything .... If anything it could jepordise the good work we have already done ...... We blow our dough on someone on a lengthy contract chasing the dream , we don;t go up and then we're stuck with a dud !!

Far better to loan a couple from the Prem and see where it takes us and IF we do go up then spend accordingly in the Summer ......Surprise Surprise this is what Warnock has been saying on radio today AND for the last week yet some on here still doubt his good work and show a complete lack of belief in what he is trying to achieve !!

FFS wise up and let him get on with his job .... He hasn't done too bad so far !!!!

Of course not. He could have said that he wants to bring players EQUALLY good as what we have though. i.e. players to boost the squad but not necessarily to make the first XI. The inference of saying he wants better is that he only wants players who'd go straight into the starting line up, which I agree with him on.
