Double leg FRACTURE, which is obviously better than a break. Im guessing were looking at 6-8 months but im not an expert on these things?

Ben arfa got the same injury at the start of october and is expected to be back in febuary. If mackie is as lucky as him that means he should be back by mid may-early june?

A fracture is a broken bone. A broken bone is a fracture.

          Incorrect.

A fracture is different from a clean break, where you have one bone that has been snapped in 2.

Jamie has a fracture which means the bone hasn't snapped in half.

          Massive difference.

While many people believe that a fracture is a "hairline break," or a certain type of broken bone, this is not true. A fracture and a broken bone are the same thing!

This is very true, I hope Mackie gets the same luck

So even though Mackie's bone hasn't been snapped in 2, its still the same as a clean brake??

If thats the case, why is the term "fracture" used? Do you even know what the word "fracture" even means?

Despite what you may have heard, a broken bone is not worse than a fracture, they both mean the same thing. In fact, the word fracture, according to the Oxford English Dictionary is defined as "the act of being broken." There are different types of fractures and broken bones, but these words mean the same thing!.

                        Shall I go on?

                              Ok, 1 more than

"•Broken, cracked, or fractured all mean the same thing, that the integrity of the bone is no longer intact. One term is not worse than another. How many times have people thanked me that their ankle wasn't broken, just fractured! I have to remind myself to do the definition list at the bedside as well. "
