Pete its not just that we didn't score more goals. If you hadn't been to the match you might well think "oh so we scored two, that's alright, its the defence that's dodgy for letting two in" and you would be right up to a point. But only up to a point. It is not just that we missed a lot of chances it is with Rob Hulse - unless he improves dramatically - as the loan striker WE WILL CONTINUE TO MISS A LOT OF CHANCES. Football teams should be efficient and turn possession into as many goals as possible. Relative to our possession we are a very inefficient scoring side.

What about him Moon? And sorry, cant keep up with everyone's ITK status. You also mention Clyne and Cox. Is this based on firm info or is it your wish list? Just Pete seems to have different ideas...

              Stainrod, I was there today.

Against Coventry we had 3 chances I can remember and scored 2, less chances against Swansea than today against Bristol City and scored 4.

Sometimes you just have to take these games on the chin. We beat Doncaster 3-0 earlier this season and in that game we probably had 3 chances.

Its one of those things. Over 46 games quality rises to the top and we have it. Promotion is not decided on a 2-2 against Bristol City

                never said No Clyne.

Did in fact say defender, just didn't know the name. Why Palace would sell without a manager though is beyond me

I can see this promotion push blowing up in our faces due to having the tightest board in football.

We have just lost our best player in Walker who apart from Tarbs we have no one near his level.

I will be very interested to see what type of quality we bring in now.

Like other have said we don't want to blow a fantastic opportunity for the sake of saving 5 million in wages/transfer fee's.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Of course I realise that and I was one of those who clapped them off the pitch thinking it was for the most part a very good performance. But the bottom line is you can argue all you like but you know and I know and virtually everyone on this forum and everyone around me in the stand and everyone in the Gen Smuts after the game all thought and said the same thing: with a decent striker we would have burred them today.

wouldnt be Rangers if we didnt shoot ourselves in the foot
time to put up or shut up from the board and invest some money in the squad this transfer window,,,
Why take a chance? when by investing £5million or so they could guarantee prem football and all the monetary reward that brings..

We were having the argument six months ago and sadly it looks like we will be having it again in another six months. Such a shame because if we did have a striker as good as our midfield we would be 10 points clear by now and the others would just be battling for second place. As it is we are vulnerable to a couple of teams putting on a spurt, like say Hull and Forest.

losing walker means we really do now have zero pace in the team and this issue will be exposed. very sad day and a double wammy

When Buzsaky comes back that will feel like a new signing. Yes we do need a new striker, 1 who is very clinical but we do need a quality centre back/left back
