how did mackie play?

I have been calling for him to be dropped/rested for ages now and has really been under performing.

He is a warnock favourite but lacks ability can some give me some positive news regarding his play today? It sounded like he had plenty of chances.

Wow. Don't you just love to #### of our own players? You love to have a moan and the funny thing is you don't even see how he plays for yourself. As it is he was poor today however he has been one of our most consistent players this year and his workrate has been first class.

Who's your next target going to be? First Hill, now Mackie...I wonder whos next.

I don't think Hill is good enough for the step up if we go up but mackie is a poor player I am afraid to say James.

I don't enjoy picking out our problems but mackie isn't good enough and I too want promotion like you and everyone else on here.

Mackie had a purple patch similar to agyemang but its clear to see he is a headless chicken that lacks ability. James calm down and stop showing your age just asking the question.

didn't think he had a bad game at all to be fair. as always, worked his socks off, chased down every ball upfield, gave the full backs a torrid time and got stuck in. it was the all action display that Mackie gives week in and week out.

had one disallowed for offside, and came close with another couple, but was far from poor, and i can't see any justification for dropping him.

Right. Its fair enough having an opinion but I get annoyed when fans such as yourself don't go and watch many matches for themselves and #### players off totally unfairly.

In my opinion he has had a brilliant season and yes the goals have dried up but there is no doubting his running and determination has been brilliant. Last two or three games (like many other players) he hasn't been on top gear but for you to call him a poor player is just stupid.

Had you actually gone to games you might be able to see he's not a headless chicken, but you dont seem to do so.

I dont think he was at his best but like you say his contribution was still good.

No way does he deserve to be dropped.

He gives 110% every game, chases down every loose ball, puts defenders under pressure and so on and we need that to accomodate people like taarabt in the team. His goal vs swansea shows he has ability aswell, put in some decent crosses today and scored an offside goal.

To be fair, he hasn't really performed for a couple of months, and is living off the first 7/8games.

He's lucky he works hard and we have no-one better or he would be out of the team.
