    It's a warnock Life for us !

My daughter has just seen ANNIE at the theatre and now sings

"It's a Warnock life for us, It's a Warnock life for us ,

I'm saying that we score goals, i'm saying that we get points"

    Well I think it's great

I'm not questioning that she saw Annie, but come on you went with her and tell us the truth it's you who's been singing this not her.
Sounds like one of these 'my mate' (daughter in this case) stories to me.

I'm saying that we score goals, I'm saying that we get points"

Must admit it's catchy but it ain't gonna catch on at footie.
Maybe a future songwriter you have there though.

I think its a winner and think the faithful should bring a touch of theatre to Loftus Road - Disagree wth 80s casual because if Annie can bridge the gap between theatre and the hardcore rap, east coast, slap me beetch up, drive by shootin, gun totin, hip hop rapper JayZ, then she has to be worth a shout at bridging the gap between theatre and football.

Theatre at football are you having a laugh, the closest we get to that is the amazing dives and play acting by some of the players especially in Europe and the prem but expecting fans to make it like a theatre, what next popcorn and soda?
Football is football and should keep it that way it's why most of us go and the longer we can hold on to a bit of the old the better before the sport is totally ruined and gets financially ****ed.

Pete likes introducing new chants, how about him dressing up as Annie AND bringing the drum to do this one
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

80's casual, I know exactly what you mean. If my daughter wants to come to football she must expect to to hear strong language etc (she hears enought of it from me) but back to the song.....

I could never imagine one of the tuffest mobs in the country singing

                      "I'm forever blowing Bubbles"

get it out there pete i say, so easy to get another verse as well.
i cant do it cos im crap, but something like this but better

'its a warnock life for us, its a warnock life for us, instead of losing we get wins, instead of npower we are prem'.

Forgot about Jay Z's version, i suppose now it has a bit of credibility if you like that sort of thing.

Doesn't "You'll Never Walk Alone" originally come from "Carousel"? - Before Gerry and the Pacemakers made it popular - so the precedent for songs from the theatre/musicals has already been set.

Good effort from the young lady and a lot easier for Pete to play on his drum than my own favourite musical song "Greased Lightning".
