    So, just to be clear

Smith can't play tomorrow despite the authorities knowing we're buying him for 4 months now. Weekend Bank Holiday to blame.

Moen can't play tomorrow despite the authorities knowing we're signing him for 4 weeks now. Weekend Bank Holiday to blame ?

However, despite it being a Bank Holiday weekend, Connolly will be banned tomorrow, even though no one at Authorities will have 'officially' logged or recorded the Red Card or Ref's report and equally no one to register or consider an appeal should we make one.....(very much doubt we will)

Anyone else see the irony ?

Welcome to the shambles that is the FA.

If it were a business it would have gone bankrupt years ago.

BBC say Van Moens prob will play. I would turn to www.qpr.co.uk but I've prob more chance of finding the Latvian weather reports or a couples of brasses giving each other oral relief as I am any answers to these questions.

Smith must be able to play tomorrow, as Liam Lawrence is clear to play for Pompey tomorrow, and he was signed on exactly the same sort of loan-to-buy deal as Smith...

Lawrence deal to Pompey on a perm has been completed. Like Smith he was unable to play on new years day. As this was the deal that held up Smith permanent deal to us in August, I expect him to play. Vagen Moens international clearance can take 7 days and is solely dependent on whether the Norwegian FA have sent the clearance application and club can confirm with FA its the case. So that one seems unlikely as stupidly their closed this weekend supposedly.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

I don`t know what the hold up was, i remember Gerry Francis signing Ludek Miklosko on Christmas Day just by sending over a fax to the FA, he played on a boxing day game for us, Can`t remember who against.
