That to me seems about right, with players like Vine etc on £16k 20 & 2 years seems a good deal for the club for Jason Roberts.

I asked him about St Ledger who he was at PNE with & he said he hasn't heard of any QPR interest but that he 100% wants out of Preston.

I agree Goddard, at PNE the staff call him 'Little John' as they say he has a lot of John Terry's attributes. (Very ponsy name I know but just highlighting he's highly regarded by them)

Saw him in a few of Ireland's qualifiers against top Internationals & he more than held his own. Good player. New surroundings & a decent manager could get him back to his best.
