Not sure we should write a player off purely on grounds of his nationality. I, probably like 99% of folk on this board, know absolutely nothing about him so if he does come am happy to believe he is brilliant until he proves the contrary (ie he is "the new Titus Bramble...").

Agree about nationality it means nothing. Latvia, Morocco and Iceland are hardly power houses of world football.
