  • Clint Hill's "back pass"...

In the 2nd half yesterday. Anyone else think we got away with that one? I think we were a little bit lucky but he only gave the ball the slightest of touches to be fair but who cares we won 2-0...

Wasn't that Derry who played that shocking back pass?

Clint to be fair was solid, I just worry when he comes against real pace.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Yea but it was so close to the goal we would of had 10 men on the line can't see a goal from there.

We were lucky, but it would have been a harsh one to give. I think he just misjudged his position when shepherding the ball back. No real intent there.

Could have easily been given though.
          Your mum would love me...

Clear back pass, we rode our luck there. It was in full view of the linesman too.

I didn't think it was an intentional back pass and would have been harsh

                Never intentional, correct decision.

It has to be a "Deliberate kick to the gk"

Think he meant to play it, but miscontrolled and then Kenny picked it up.

Harsh one to give I think.

Agree it was unintentional but making a split Judgment on intent is never an easy thing to do for a ref. It was risky. Kenny actually had the space to touch the ball forward then welly it.

Agree Stanley I was surprised Kenny took a chance - not something NW encourages his defenders to do as we know!

Has to be intentional, IMO there was no intent it just hit his foot whilst he was trying to shield the ball back to Kenny!

Could easily have been given, mistake by the otherwise superb Kenny,
                          best goalie in the league!

                            True.

Got away with it... but Coventry would have probably taken out a floodlight bulb with the free kick anyway.
