We might try but that doesn't mean we will get them.

If Warnock was telling the truth in his interview yesterday then we are either going to sign out of favour loaness from the Championship but this would involving the loaning club to be prepared to send them to a rival or loanees from the Premiership. I can't see the benefit of Palace loaning out Ambrose. Nor can I see why Cardiff would loan out Chopra. However I can see someone like Leicester loaning out Fryatt because he's out of favour and Leicester no doubt don't see us a rival in the same way that they see all the other play off challengers. A few years ago Barnsley allowed Brian Howard to go out on loan to Sheff Utd even though they were in the same division.

Watson might be a possibility but maybe as a loan rather than a permanent signing. This might be so that Wigan can protect themselves if they have a spate of injuries and we look after ourselves if he doesn't succeed. Kevin Phillips might want regular football for a few months but again we might not see any reason to sign him longer than that. Macheda or Bebe won't get regular football at Man Utd but neither will be sold so again loanee opportunities.

As for Roberts he is currently injured and he is appearing regularly for Blackburn so no immediate reason to drop down a division.

Really does depend on next 4 games.

if we do well, Warnock will not want to upset the applecart and stick with the players who got us there.

Have a bad 4 games, he will be under pressure to bring in newbies including Chopra and Mutu, thats the way I see it anyway.

id say sign a few players anyway as were bount to have injuries and they can sit on the bench and wait for the chance like smith and hulse did. having clarke and agyemang on the bench aint no good

say we lose 3 out of the 4 games and we drop to 3rd 4th or 5th place, dont think we will but if it did happen, players who we could tempt now while were still top by saying sign for us and you be playing in the prem next year might not wanna join us if we drop down a few places

Don't think NW is that green around the gills where he will wait for results to dictate his transfer activity. He knows who he wants & what he needs.
