You have stated that you've always hated Helguson, so who judgement is clouded? Must really hurt you when he's played well this season and the majority of supporters sees what he's brought the team. "Player of the season" NW was quoted before his injury. The whole team was poor today, Watford did their homework on us and exploited our poor pace in defence. Gorkss/Connolly/Derry/Faurlin had their worst games for us. HH had no support upfront. Well illustrated when a cross came into the area, he won the header but had to direct it out to the touchline because we hade no players in the box or outside the area. We are top of the league for a reason, hopefully we'll bounce back at Elland Road. Onwards and upwards

Helguson played his best ever game for Watford tonight.

Probably doesn't help that he and Smith were idolised by the Watford fans -- Smith had his worst game for us tonight and HH too.
Unprofessional, but I wonder if their performances were affected by some residual sentimentality towards Watford.

Totally agree Swanley. To be honest the whole team was crap. Hopefully a one off.
