I think it was the ineptitude of the defeat that irks and worries people the most.. that was a mauling and I know only time will tell whether we bounce back or the wheels fall off.... nevertheless that was a gutless and abysmal performance... hoping its a blip as will be driving up to ER next week and don't want a long silent journey home...

Had the opportunity to go to the pub with a mate but stayed home instead. Pretty glad I did. The thought of watching us lose like that and spend sheds in the pub would have been a worse evening. And, on the plus side, my pre-match Chinese was nice.

Fortunately, I was a bit worried about this one, as Watford often beat us 3-0 or 3-1, so didn't really say anything before the game.
But that didn't stop Dan's Chelsea-supporting mate from turning up BRIGHT AND EARLY this morning (he's NEVER up that early!) for a bit of a gloat.
We just pointed out that we're top of the league, 4 points clear, blah, blah blah, called him a Chelsea s.cumbag and sent him packing.
