    Adel's ego.........will it cost us????

Seems to me that when the live cameras are on him he wants to show the watching public just how good he is and it seems to be to the detriment of the team...

The thing that worries me is that NW acknowledged this and alluded to the stinker he had at Ashton Gate so he must have had a word in his shell like but AT obviously ignored what ever was said and played the way he did...

Am rather hoping that he will now finally take heed of NW's advice and put in the kind of performances he has of late....

Maybe he just can't resist trying to put on a show.. pity it all turned out so hideously wrong...

What a shocker and although one has to applaud Watford as they could and should have had many more we were d.o.g.s.h.i.t. :rage:

One advantage though. Can't see anyone decent wanting to sign him after tonight's performance...

He wouldn't let anyone else have the ball so how could they be worse?! TBF Connolly got ruined by Graham tonight. Embarrassing

In reply to your headline question, yes his ego will cost us in the long run unless NW relieves him of the captaincy forthwith.Regardless of his 9 goals and his recent form he does does more bad things than good imo.Again he nearly cost us a goal tonight through his greediness, apart from the opportunities he squandered through his selfish dribbling and not laying the ball off to better placed team mates.Give the armband to someone more deserving.

The whole side were off the pace after a bright first 15 mins, BBC liked to jump on the AT bandwagon and only when Gabby Logan said well they are top of the league and he has 9 goals so he must be doing something right, did the others start to agree, Lee Dixon was more Pro Rangers than Les, very disappointing !

Though AT was no different greed wise than most other games just looked worse cos we lost, thought the whole team were sh!te tonight.

Had to lose sometime. Monkey off our backs now with regards to keeping the unbeaten run now its time for them to earn their corn. On a plus the management & board can see we are beatable (and quite easily tonight) so might gee them up to spend some big dosh in January.

Infuriating to watch, imagine playing on his team. Why make runs if you'll never get it.

I love him when he's great but he can't win the game on his own every week. Sometimes think we'd be a better side without him.

the whole team was really poor tonight , especially our defenders. Adel hasnt got enough balls tonight.

Apart from his selfishness, he still can't take a decent free kick or corner. Really wish we'd let someone else take these. His first free kick was woeful. just booted it out of play. :rage:
