Where is the best Indian to eat at before game tonight?

I am going straight from work and will be at LR for about 6.15.
From say the Club shop, where is the best Indian as I really fancy a curry tonight before the game?

Is it uxb road and anyone any ideas?

Its not really a restaurant as such but that Lahori opposite the Conningham is the nuts...

There is one across the Green on Goldhawk which is good. I have just had to look it up as "curry house on the Hawk" wouldn't help much - it is called ajanta and is at 10-12 Goldhawk Road. Went last year after a game and was impressed. Coming from Harrow / Kingsbury that is pretty high praise as we're spoilt for choice round here and fussy with it. Most of the ones nearer the ground are lebanese and african or take outs now. Decent Thai on the Ux towards the Green. Addy if you want posh nosh now.

Fish is about spot on.

Lohori is a chain of restaurants and they are what I class as 'real' indian food.

They have others in Feltham and Hounslow that I have been too.

Very reasonably priced and you might have to correct me if i'm wrong fishster, but the ones I have been to allow you to take your own alchohol making it very cheap.

Again not comfortable but if you are going for food then try there.

Decent but if you are talking great indian food then I suggest you get yourself down to southell where the Brilliant is the best indian restaurant around and pisses on brick lane. Ok I hope that has helped Jeffro. Thank you.

The Brilliant is hit and miss for me. At times, the food is outrageously good, but the service is usually shocking and you can be stuck there for hours.

Agree Benny. Nice to see another poster that knows his indian food.

The butter chicken just melts in your mouth and the jeera chicken is beautiful and a superb taste. I haven't been to the one that looks newer Benny. I have heard though that it does great fish dishes.

Also if you are ever near Wembley then there is a great indian pub that does fantastic home made type meals. Again 'real' indian food. I can't think of the name but if it comes to me then I highly recommend it.

Have to say idea of a chain of indian restaurants is nonsense in reality, They are not like McDs/Pizza Hut etc and can't readily be franchised (name me one if you dare!). Notion of a chain called lahori is even sillier tbh - it is a style of cooking named after the old capital of Pakistan (so not even India). Likewise "Brilliant" is a common curry house name as it translates over well - there's no connection between the products they sell, I have for example 5 lahori/e/a/s in spitting distance and 3 "brilliant"s. I can add a couple of "balti huts" none of them are related and even where they share livery it isn't the same product they sell. .... I could go further but you get my drift. Indian has never been properly franchised as it can't be in the same way - down to individual spicing so as chefs change the product changes.

Told you we were spoilt and fussy on curries up here. But has convinced me to grab one on the way to the footy.

Whilst I wouldn't disagree that Lahori offers the best value for money, Kathmandu Inn offers unequivocally the best curries in the area. Pity that I'm running late, or I'd have popped in for one of their chicken ghurkalis tonight.

Try any Karahi Express restaraunts, they are the dogs testicles when it comes to curry. Unfortunately there isn't one in the Bush.
Karahi Express can be found along the Uxbridge Road in Hayes, Bath road Hounslow West or Slough.
All the food is cooked in front of you in a clay oven. Probably the most flavoursome ruby I have ever tasted.
