Key for us is that he stays and helps get us up and then that we get a £20 million+ number for him with a sell on clause and all we can get....
seriously playing well against championship players by no way means he is good enough for champions league. so in your words, be realistic

this thread is nonsense, Adel is not going to leave QPR, he is very excited promoting his team to premierleague and he will not feel any happier in any other team than QPR. QPR offered him everything he dreams about, he plays his game, captain and good teammates for his progression etc..
he will leave maybe after 24 years old but not now for sure. He wants to make a big name at QPR so forget about transfers.

          do me a favour
probaly his agent(his brothers) playing the adels wanted by europes elite card again.
would cost 7m imo and no one would take a gamble at 1m 5 months back so doubt they will after 22 championship games!!

I reckon that he'll stay if we go up this season; if not, he'll probably leave if a big club comes in for him next summer. Judging by his interview in "Hoops" he knows that he owes NW a lot.

i dont see adel staying longer than 2 seasons. 1 if we dont go up.

wouldnt be surprised either if he has clauses to speak to prem teams or if a value is met.

like i said before.. id be gutted when/if adel goes.. however im a realist. he wants to go on.. so should a team come in for him he'd make it clear he wants to go.. so id be upset at him if he went BEFORE the end of this season given our position.. i would be less gutted if he went if/after we get promoted.

No way would NW replace a player who is worth £5 million with Ben Watson!

i wouldn't call it replacing, more filling a gap, no news on buzz coming back yet.

also he only cost 1 million, 5 is your valuation.

at the moment qpr wise, priceless, but in the summer, would depend on whether he has kept his form up all season, personally cannot see him going in january, we shall see.

but i would rate him at about 3 million after 20 games or so.

Would you agree he is the best player in the league ,and bothroyd is valued at £4 million with a small contract left

                            WHAT QPR SHOULD DO...

Is offer Adel a bumper contract just before the January window opens to keep the Wolves at bay? Not something that would break the bank in terms of a massive wage increase right now which would cause us financial issue (I know what you are going to say about how rich our owners are but we need to get real - we won’t be bank rolled in a silly manner). Just offer him a contract full of clauses such as a BUMPER BONUS for PROMOTION this season, an even bigger bumper bonus for promotion next season (encouraging him to stay one more season if we don't make it this season), a huge wage increase for promotion and things like a minimum release clause. If we go up all these figure could be covered and offset against our additional revenue through achieving promotion and all these things would show we mean business and won't allow him to go in January and would put to bed any possible unwarranted distractions in the window.

My only comments regarding him is that like Warnock has mentioned numerous times Adel would shine the most in a side that is build around him (like we are at the minute). With him moving to another club would this happen, as in AC Milan or Liverpool? I think not. Adel loves being in the spot light and my QUESTION I would have around him is at a big club would he actually be as good? A comparisom for this would be Ian Holloway and how well he is doing at Blackpool. He'd never do that well at a bigger club. He's built to do well in a small club on a shoestring budget and I wonder if Taarabt is like this in a playing context.

The last thing we need is a prem club making an offer for Taraabt in Jan because although we are likely to turn it down if it doesnt meet our valuation it could unsettle the boy.
Personally, and i hope i am wrong, but i reckon he'd join a prem team like a shot if offered to him in Jan. Thats just my opinion.
