but I think Neil ought to put his foot down and stop Adel taking penalties. None here are well taken. Mr Derry for the job I say. Buz when he's back.

Might as well relieve him of free kicks while he's at it. He's not very good at them either.

To be fair, it isn't what he's there for. Not his natural strength (and if he showboats another and misses I would expect that to be the end of it anyway!) Stan Bowles suffered the same problem with pens. Some are better at them than others that's all.

Can't remember him missing one yet but must admit to being a bit worried every time he steps forward

Yes, true enough. And he hasn't missed one. But to be equally fair and honest some have been a wee bit crap but gone in anyway!

Some players are better at dead balls than others. It is a skill of its own. I don't think it is one of Adel's strengths is all. I can see why Adel wants to take em all (his desire to get on the score sheet being one of his main characteristics!) but would prefer Neil determined who was best and suspect it wouldn't be him.

And the free kicks is a clear shout as well if you ask me. That does surprise me a bit - I would've thought Adel would like to be on the end of them rather than taker. I'd rather see him t'other end of it.
