        Come off it, guys.

        Claridge isn't a sycophantic pundit. He keeps an arm's length of everyone, from what I can see -- which is exactly how I want media commentators on football to be.

        I hope we are not developing some victim mentality. He isn't a QPR fan. He's employed to be detached, paricularly as a BBC pundit.

        He will praise us this evening, because we deserve praise. On other occasions, he will be critical. Because, believe it or not, we sometimes deserve criticism.
