Hi dazzer have you got pre match nerves or are you just feeling a bit cranky? read my post again please - I said "totally out of order" which gives an indication of my feeling about this criminal act. Are you telling me that you do not exercise a bit of caution when you are walking around town at night and that you don't keep your watch, phone, wallett etc low profile? Anyone flaunting that much opulence is inviting unwanted attention and although not exactly "asking for it" then they are certainly making themselves an obvious target and should not be suprised when some ****bag (obviously desperate) takes advantage. For all we know Bernie could of had everything hidden and out of sight (out of mind) and not one opportunist but four guys attacked him (so this was pre-calculated). It don't take a rocket scientist to work out that someone with his wedge is likely to be hold something expensive on him. The guys 80 years old and these acts of crime drive me crazy.

I know we had a bit of a laugh and a joke about it yesterday but having seen the pictures of his injuries in the media today i cant help but feel sorry that this has happened so it would be nice if he recieves a warm reception from the fans today...

totally agree, i think its about time we all started showing our apreciation to all those guys, cos whatever people think of them, we are top of the league with the best side in eons, and dead certs in the bookies eyes (who are very rarely wrong) for premiership football next season.
tho i would be very surprised if he turns up today going by the state fo the poor old codger.
