Very good player but another non scoring midfielder. I have no problem with us signing any midfielders but I'd like us to sign one who knows where the net is.

We already have the Cypriot and (apparently) the Norwegian and now potentially an Australian. All for improving the squad but like Sir Pie wonder if this is the priority. A cynic would point out that soon to be out of contract midfielders are hugely cheaper than proven goalscorers.

On a point of order Sir Pie, what's with the t-shirt? I'm liking what's underneath it but not sure about what's on the outside...

This site has gone from a Cardiff Love-In to a Swansea Love-In recently so I've updated my avatar accordingly.

Agreed. Kilkenny is a decent player, Vaagen Moen might also be and so might the Cypriot but none of them have scored goals at this level. That isn't to say we should sign players like that otherwise we'd never have signed Faurlin but I believe we need to look at the teams in this league and see which players are performing but aren't come January challenging and see if we can grab their players.

Lewis McGugan at Forest has 8 in 13. He's young, he knows where the net is and although he is from Nottingham if we are still where we are in Jan and they are still where they are in Jan then I'd rather us sign someone like him then another non-scoring midfielder.

Not a bad striker. Better than what we have but not enough to have me bolting my load.

Then again in our team who create quite a lot he might be good.

Jason Roberts would do the business I believe.

Kilkenny is a really good holding midfielder, we definitely need one more as cover if Faurlin or Derry gets injured. Good choise and right age, the thing is, I'm not at all sure he's PL potential, maybe someone in Leeds has seen more of him..

they would never sell becchio now.
there would be riots and the board would be murdered if ever seen in public.
forget him, hes going nowhere at the moment imho.

Can they afford to lose him and Kilkenny for nothing next year? never realised he is 6-5? big guy.
