To be fair 3 points is the closest we have been to 3rd for some time. We have been drawing but have stayed between 4-6 points clear of 3rd. We need a nice win against Preston and a few in the top 6 to lose and draw (especially Swansea) then set up a close 2-1 win against Cardiff

This time last week i expected Swansea to be level with us or a point behind with the games both sides had this last week, to remain 3 points ahead is a bonus really, as long as we now beat preston.
