It will be worth a call before you leave, if game was a 3pm kick off it would be off for sure, as it is flooded all around here BUT weather forecast is better this afternoon so should have a chance to drain, as long as their pitch drainage is good.
I have just got to work in RYDE to find out we have flooded....great fun !Comment

Pompey were this morning hoping tonight's Fratton Park clash with QPR would beat the heavy rain.
However, a Fratton Park pitch inspection this afternoon was set to determine whether the contest could go ahead.

It's the stands and roads in and out that are also a problem, not just the pitch.

Game likely to be off!!
Stayed down in portsmouth overnight and it has been and still is hammering down. Severe weather warning issued and 3 inches of rain expected. Thought I'd give people the heads up!Comment

Strange poll so I won't be voting.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
