Derry.....most important player in the side?

For me Derry was one of four players yesterday that were 9 out of 10 (the other 3 being Taraabt, Faullin and Walker) but thinking about it i honestly believe Derry is just as important to the side as Taraabt or Faullin.

I'd say theyre all equally important. Goes to prove how well they've gelled and play as a team when so many of them put in outstanding performances.

Yeah i agree and there seems to be a great togetherness amongst the boys at the moment

Put it this way, I'd be gutted if we were to lose Derry for whatever reason, right now, absolutely gutted.
He's been immense.

l agree and i admit i was underwhelmed when we signed him.

i didnt really know a lot about him, just that he was a bit of a hard man type player so didnt comment at all. what did worry me was all those crystal palace mugs that were on here at the time we were raping them, laughing their heads off saying we had brought two of the biggest donkeys that had ever had playing for them, and they wouldnt stop posting how useless they were and colin must of been rodgering them both.
its obvious now it was just pure sour grapes and a cover for how gutted they really were.
cant stop thinking and wondering what ambrose would of been like for us if he had of chosen to come to us as well tho. its so ovious he made the biggest mistake of his entire life turning us down. ha ha ha ha, sorry to laugh.

Personally I feel that is what makes us a top of the side team...our midfield. Derry, Faulin and on his day Adel. Then add your fringe Midfielders Rowland, Cook, Smith, Buzsaky we look so so solid.

Imo... our midfield makes our good defence and our average forward line look like pure class... !

Hold my hand up, have called it right on a few players but I was completely wrong about Derry - thought he was a past it clogger but he's been fantastic. Do worry tho if he will be able to last the season. With Buz and Rowly having big fitness issues we aren't as flush in midfield as we thought - which I guess is why Warno has taken on this Cypriot geezer.
