Swap Mackie for Beckford ??

David Moyes is apparently setting up a move of around £3m for Mackie,according to The People today.Having got Cahill,Lescott and Jagielka from the Championship he thinks Mackie could make the same transition.

I for one wouldn't mind,particularly if Beckford could be part of the deal.I think Tommy smith could fill Mackie's role.

I'm sure you're right about Mackie,but he has been taking one touch too many recently (twice yesterday+ one scuffed left foot late on when goals looked more certain).I'm just worried that with all his effort and endeavour he's suffering from the Agyemang syndrome.Agyemang got 9 in 9 then little else after and Mackie 8 in 7 and nothing in the last 6.Remember also that he only got 8 all last season so he's more likely not to score than to score.WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE SHOOTING PRACTICE THEY HAVE SUPPOSED TO HAVE HAD and the 8 days rest compared to Burnley's 2 ?
