  • If we get promoted this season

    Got me thinking...

Putting aside the whole circus act that has happened; has Flavio Briatore not only talked the talk but walked the walk?

When he came here aside from silly Champions league comments, he stated that QPR would be in the Premier League within 4 years; they took over in 2007...

    Cant argue with his statement...

He is still here, he is still very much in control and if we go up, he has taken us back after 15 long years..

That is true, but it would have been sooner if he had taken this season approach in 2007 and he has lost a lot of fans through various decisions he made.

Par for the course with the fans of any club I think and you only have to look at the likes of Man U and Liverpool etc plus the vast majority of other teams where fans always believe the Chairman should spend more money and drop prices

Flavio did not exactly help himself with meddling and some of his comments but I am sure there have been far worse Chairman in the league over the years

Changed too many things too quickly, the badge is a contentious one with many.

The way he went about it was wrong, though we remained in the championship and this season look very strong. Not altogether sure Lakeshmi Mittal, along with Bernie must have advised Flavio to take a back seat as it was causing disharmony. The fact is the fans really own the club not anyone individual and I think for the first 3 years Flavio owned it like a yacht, declaring to the world it was all his.

As long as he does not put his foot in it (which he tends to do) cannot see a problem with the set-up at the moment as it seems to be working.

All fingers are crossed, as we the fans deserve some enjoyment and success on the pitch. It is obvious with our fan base at the moment, we are pitching above our weight/

It may look right, but it will only be due to the fact that Flav has taken a back step and let the manager (Neil) take the reigns in footballing matters,

The sad thing is that in football nowadays this statement just isn't true. Individuals can do what they like when they have control. It has driven some clubs to bankrupcy.

It is only a matter of time before a biggish club is lost forever due to owners having total control when they are not football people.
