Because he's physically big and strong, I think he's ideal to bring on for the last 10-15 minutes to run at tiring defenders -- and he DOES bother them and is probably the last type of player they want to try and deal with fresh, when they are feeling the first signs of fatigue.
Next time he's brought on late, you watch -- he is often double marked. Sign of a player the opp are worried about. Frees up a bit of space for the others too.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Wow it amazes me after his two goals how people's view about him changed from "zero" to "hero".

he has power and strength thats actually it. he can finish too but doesnt have the football sense to move into the area's for him to score the goals. he'd rather hold the ball up.

Scored two goals this season and hardly been on the pitch !!

Good impact player if we play to his strengths, which is his pace in last 15-20 minutes

Pat isn't 'the answer' and if we ever have to start with him, that'll be a bad sign. However, give him some credit for his goal against Derby he took it very well, and as for Connolly's effort going in v Brizzle thats just not true

you dont see him miss many chances as say? helguson?

difference between those 2 is helguson is always in the position to score. dave isnt.

I can remember a time when fans were delighted Helguson was shipped out to Watford.

                  Would they want it now?

Just goes to show, what a decent manager can do. His confidence must have been shot to pieces after Sousa.

(by the way thats not a dig, just an observation)

                    Selective observation though, isn't it?

I'd say Magilton, Harford, and Hart weren't exactly top of his Christmas card list either.
I've probably missed out on another manager too... but I lose track of stuff before Warnock rolled up.

Agyemang is crap always has been hence why hes very rarely held a starting position at any club.

Impact sub? What a load of **** if hes makes that much impact he should be starting,Ole Solkjsaer he aint.

SirPie, as our resident stato, you of all people will be aware that his goal per game ratio this season is actually not bad

                            True, true.

With that strike rate I wish he was at the mighty CAST!

Unlike other players Warno hasnt deemed him surplus to requirements so who are we to doubt his judgment?

That's the hardest thing about having a decent manager - no matter what misgivings we have about selection etc., we have to bite the bullet as we aren't really in a position to judge.
Just keep our fingers crossed that we can trust him to do what's right.
