Not convinced with Gorkks or Connolly

People say Hill is the weak link becasue of his lack of pace but for me he is a better defender than both Gorkks and Connolly. Both our centre halves lack pace and Gorkks eapecially gets roasted if his striker has any sort of know how. I know a lot of people rate Gorkks but he is slow, not bad in the air and suspect when a striker runs at him, that doesnt make a quality defender in my book.

Partially disagree.

Gorkss clears up pretty much everything aerially. But yes, in a one on one sprint to the ball, he lacks pace.

He lacks pace, but he is a good reader of the game and very good in the air.

I agree Roose that after 10 clean sheets out of 12 games its a bit harsh coming out with what i have posted but watching us last night we looked so vulnerable to the counter attack and players running at us. Im just not so sure a Gorrks Connolly pairing is the way forward for us. Just my opinion

Last night we did not look good at all players have bad games but I would not swap Gorrks or connolly with any other central pairing in the league.

Big Dave I was saying the same thing myself, Gorkks is very slow when up against
a quick player.

He was at fault for the palace goal he got roasted one on one then.

He got injured before the Palace goal and was limping heavily thats why he got done.

Think Gorkss looked a bit jaded last night, or maybe carrying a knock, but still think they are a very good centre back pairing.
They're keeping Fitz Hall out of the team, too.

Can you name a better partnership in last 15 years - not saying there isn't one just can't think of one right now - fully open to be put right
