    Ramage Targets Quick Recovery..

QPR defender Peter Ramage is hoping to make a quicker than expected comeback from the serious injury he suffered in September.

Ramage was ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a cruciate ligament injury.

But he remains positive and is determined to try and make a comeback before the end of the current campaign.

"It is going really well at the moment, with the operation about a month ago and the rehab beginning the day after that, but so far it has gone pretty smoothly," Ramage said.

    Bonus
"I have been ruled out for the whole of this season, so if I do manage to come back before the end it will be a bonus.

"However, I have set myself mini targets to strive for, but there is still a long way to go and things may crop up in that time which could extend or shorten my spell on the sidelines.

"It was a bit of a kick in the teeth for me personally because it is great being in and around a team that is doing well, but it is something else to be involved in it.

"I'm trying to stay positive and I am hoping to be apart of it towards the latter stages of the season, which would be great.

"Everything happens for a reason in life and I will continue to support the boys by going to as many games as I can and try to stay involved in that way until I close in on a return."

May not be the most gifted of footballers, although looked decent when played in his natural position. Can't fault his attitude. Puts a lot of these 'superstars' to shame. Even gave it a go up front when he received the injury to stop us going down to ten men

I wish him the very best. Rooney could learn a thing or two from Rambo.

One of the best attitudes I think you will find in football. Knows he's not a world beater but puts certain players to shame for effort, guile & attitude.

Hope he comes back strong & puts himself in with a shout. If Warnock picks him that's good enough for me.
