hes living in the dark ages, if a player is signed by a club he expects the club to own them until the club decide they want to sell, this is totally ridiculous and will never ever come back into football. The only way to stop players dictating terms is to have a salary cap, this might happen but they always get round it via bonuses etc.

I agree with the sentiment, but I think it is slightly embarrassing that it comes accross as a Fergie worship.

This has happened thousands of times to thousands of clubs....just because it is "Sir Alx" everyone has soiled their underpants.
