    Buzz injury not serious

Just seen the news that Buzz has just twisted his knee slightly with no real damage. Should return to action soon.

    Great news! Phew!

Although I don't think he is the natural replacement for Faurlin I think a player of his quality is vital to our success this season.

It was said though that after he came off against naarwich that we went from being attack minded to concentrating on our defense so obviously he was missed and will continue to be.

That was definitely the case however Buzsaky isn't a natural tackler like Faurlin and doesn't break up play in the same way, which is why I don't think he is a natural replacement for Faurlin. However, he is ten times better in that position that Leigertwood is.

we missed the link play that Buzz provides. I don't think we appreciated what he was bringing to the team in recent games until he went off. Faurlin whilst not quite so attacking can also do that. These 2 players for me, make us tick and we are a far different proposition with 1 of them in the side than not.

But Buzz does track back and try to put the challenges in. He is also the only player in the squad who can replace faurlin. I also think that he was getting better with each game. At end of last season I thought him and faurlin were excellent together. Buzz has had a bit of a rough deal being constantly put out wide by most managers and then the injuries. I think this season his attitude has been excellent when he's come off the bench, even though he know he's not first choice.

Actually speaking of a good attitude, what about agyemang....he's surprised me with his work rate when he's come off the bench.

Think Buz has worked really hard this season to do the Leigertwood type work. Whatever anyone says about him being out of touch etc no one cd accuse him of being lazy, not tracking back and ducking challenges this season. And thought on Saturday he was starting to combine that with some of his old flair. It would be very harsh on Derry as he has been our great unsung hero this season but I would like to see Buz and Faurlin given a run out in the centre of midfield. Absolutely delighted his injury not serious - get well soon Buz.

I think Buzsaky has done well and I agree he has improved in that position. However he does tend to drift forward which closes the space for Taraabt to work in whereas Faurlin sits and sprays passes like Wilkins used to. Too often IMO Derry has put the crunching tackle in for Buzsaky not to be in quite the right position to pick up the loose ball and make the pass. IMO Rowlands is a more natural replacement for Faurlin than Buzsaky is.

As I said Buzsaky's fitness and ability is key to our success. It's a squad game and with the likes of him, Hulse, Smith etc as well this is the reason why we have a real chance this season.
