Faurlin to return..... or Mahon??

He was a revelation last season, maybe not quite to the extent that Derry has been this time but certainly very good; my concern, though, is that why if he has made a full recovery has nobody at all (as far as we know) come in to sign him?

Gavin is a hard worker and I think would be an asset as Benny says to come on for Derry. He (Derry) has been huge and has played his heart out, but will have to be rested from time to time.

never once said derrys past it, never coated one of warnocks signings. not even clarke.
and heider is past it, he will go back to his mediocre best untill hes replaced by hulse and on the bench, you wait and see. hes done very well, but its only a fluke on the back of a brillaint team performance, hes macaroni.

Firstly, you don't need to...Mahon and Derry are the same age, so if one ios past it, then the same must go for the other. Mahon was brilliant for us last season, so I fail to see how you can come to the assumption that he's now not good enough. We missed him massively once he was injured, and that's a fact. Both Mahon and Derry are very similar and both could rely on one another for a much needed rest.

Secondly, how is HH past it? He's been absolutely fantasxtic for us this season. He's led the line well, set a few up, won penalties and even converted his on a 100% success rate. His goal against Palace not only secured us a win, but at that late a stage in the game showed great fitness, determination and spirit by jumping as well as he did.

Exactly that. Some fans don't seem to be able to grasp the meaning of a 'squad' and what's needed in order to rest important players like Derry. Legs cannot do it, even I have to admit this now. We need backup, and Mahon fits that bill perfectly.

mahon is nowhere near as good as derry, and by past it i mean 'past it' playing for this promotion winning side, and deffo 'past it'in terms of ever playing in the premiership.
helgusons done brilliant and played better than he ever has for us, but we have brought a better player who will take his place. so hes 'past it' as well imho.
time will tell, but you clique never remember any correct shouts from the non gang members, selective memories.
